And all I want is an ice cream cake from Parm.
Grubstreet just posted pictures of Parm’s ice cream cakes. There are 12 varieties available for order, including flavors like Turtle, Peach Melba, and Almond Joy. The cakes, which are 9 inches in diameter and serve up to 14 people, cost $58 and must be ordered at least a day in advance. Each one contains three layers of different flavors of ice cream.
My favorite of the pictures is the Peach Melba, which has peach, raspberry, and vanilla ice creams. The Turtle (pecan praline, chocolate, caramel) sounds amazing too. Normally, I’d balk a bit at the price. But right now, when the weather is making me a perpetually sweaty, disheveled mess, these cold, picture-perfect slices of ice cream seem priceless.
